Our #WithoutLimitsChallenge participants in Charleston recently completed their first week of training for the Cooper River Bridge Run 10k in April. Check out what they have to say about the first week!

Tara Marlowe
My first week of training has been great. I am really enjoying the workouts. In this first week I was really challenged to slow down my pace on my rest/recovery days so that I can give my muscles adequate time to recover. This is something that I struggle with, and I look forward to getting better at this. In order to get better/faster and to be able to reach my goals, I know I need to take advantage of rest days. Bring on Week 2 of the #withoutlimitschallenge!

I have really enjoyed my first week of the challenge. It’s been more of a change than I thought it would be. Coach Chris has been great about giving me my workouts and checking in with me. I get the feeling he cares about my progress and understanding of the way Without Limits works . I also already feel like I’m part of a team! At practice last week everyone openly welcomed me into the group which helped me feel right at home. I’ve already learned so much about warmup, dynamic stretching, run form, and post workout hip-work, I can’t wait to see what the next 11 weeks bring!
