…”Believing in myself is not something that comes naturally for me. Training for a half marathon and running regularly started the process of changing those thought patterns in my head. Instead of thinking I can’t, I started thinking that not only I could, but I would and will. Having my family and friends screaming my name cheering me on means more than words can express. The positive energy and support that surrounds this sport is overwhelming. It doesn’t matter what I look like or what my rank is as long as I’m giving it my all and I’m becoming better than I was yesterday. Anything is possible when I believe in myself…” ~Anna Maltby
