Hello, I’m Diana Davis, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist since 1983. I’m passionate about helping clients achieve their health, weight, and athletic goals by focusing on real, balanced foods in variety and moderation—without resorting to restrictive diets. My areas of expertise include sports nutrition, weight management, diabetes prevention, and a non-diet approach to family meals. My ultimate goal is to guide you toward sustainable changes that fit into your life and empower you to live a healthier, more fulfilling lifestyle.

Diana Davis Nutrition Consulting was an important part of my 2025 Myrtle Beach Marathon preparation and performance. Marathon running for me came “better late than never” in 2019 at age 64, and I had run a total of 5 prior to Myrtle Beach. Because of severe cramping during my last 2 marathons, I spoke with Diana and signed up for a personalized nutrition consultation. The consultation was very thorough: Diana reviewed my current eating habits. She reviewed my pre-race / on-course fueling used in previous marathons. She detailed optimum levels/ranges for intakes of carbohydrates, electrolytes and water/hydration, and determined that I required additional hydration and electrolytes. She designed 2 fueling strategy options for me to evaluate during training, and followed up with me on this. I also used a personalized marathon training plan designed by Tom Clifford of Without Limits. During Myrtle Beach I had excellent energy throughout but still had some cramping around mile 21; I knew now to immediately take additional fluid/electrolytes and was able to continue running through the finish in 4:20:34 – a new age group PR and 4th in men’s 65-69. After the race Diana immediately reached out to congratulate me, review the run and offer suggestions for the next race!
