Mary Margaret raced the Summer Sizzler 10K and had a comeback PR 🙂  She did 45:23, 4th OA and first in in AG and first in Master’s.  Walt Greer also PRed even though the course was short, with the adjustment, he still crushed his old time! Congrats to Jim Finley, 4th in age group.
Congrats to Maleia Tumolo who placed 13 in her age group, 20 places ahead of her 33rd place last year. Â Huge improvements from last year place wise and she improved in every event! Â Also congrats to Kyle Shepard who is nursing a plantar issue, he did the swim and bikes on both days and is training for IM CHATTY!
Jack Carroll did the swim/bike (crushing it) of Lake Logan Half and is training hard for IMCHOO!
Beth Brampton did the Lake Logan International – oldest participant and first international in years!  1st in her AG too 🙂  Training hard and getting ready for B2B Half!
Coach Matthew Wisthoff took 2nd at Lake Logan Olympic on a very tired body. Â He is training for Savage Man in September! Â Nice work Matt.
Congrats to all Lake Logan Participants. Angela Leonard had a PR swim and Susan Shafer had a great race on her way to IMFL.  Lisa Kerr and Holly Cunningham both completed their first Olympic and made the podium to boot winning 2nd and 3rd place Master Novice. Grant Meyers suffered a bike explosion at Mile 25 of the half distance and after SAG brought him in he still ran the half marathon.  IMCHOO is in his sights.
Level 1 had two finishers in the Summer Sizzler 10k: Janet Coleman and Anna Maltby. Both coming back from setbacks, but enjoying the rare cooler temps in August, Anna said, “It was awesome! I feel like I’m finally back!”
Who has a 60+ min PR for a 70.3…Shay Hutchings…that’s who!  Talk about improvement, consistency, dedication…Congrats to Shay on 70.3 Steelhead with a 5:10!!  Can’t wait for B2B Rockstar!
