Boston Marathon

Without Limits had 12 athletes compete in the 119 edition of the Boston Marathon.  10 of those athletes were first time Boston runners and what an incredible weekend it was.  With steady rains and 15-20 mph headwinds, WOL athletes prevailed with some great times.

Ed George – 3:50:00 After a 53 mile race in Virginia Saturday Belmonte 50 (2 days before), He was 6th overall and 1st in age group in the 53 miler and then did Boston.  Holy mother of heck!
Pam Keenan – 4:46:03 – battled food poisoning and still finished awesome!

Other Weekend Noteworthy Performances

Patrick Horning posted a 1:02:16 at the Granite Falls Triathlon and Mike Nichols placed 3rd in Age Group with a 1:00:31.  Maykala Obremski won the Osprey Flight 5K in 20:32, Charles Rooks ran 20:47 along with Helen and Alison Rooks running 23:10!  All personal bests! Megan Dittmar – Race for the Planet 5K PR and Shaun Tunis 50:52 PR at Brunswick Forest 10K.  Ilene Schnall:  4th AG at 5K Swim Miami Sue Bark:  Completed first Century at Cycle NC.  Peggy rocked her first 5 mile race in quite some time up in Philly.  On to the 5K and then Boston 2016:)
